MS 25 Liberty, Mo 39

On Saturday the 14th of December, the Millard South Varsity dueled Liberty,
Missouri (at Millard South). Liberty is in the largest class (4A) in
Missouri. The city is just outside of KC. Our team was a little short handed
for the duel as Brandon Atkinson could not wrestle due to injury, and we had
to use a JV to fill in at 125. Liberty returned 5 state qualifiers and 2 of
them were state placers. Winning matches for Millard South were: Jake
Muirheid, Aaron Denson, Trevor Schave, Joe Ellenberger, and Stephen Mannino.
We were ahead going into the 189 lb match, but fell a little short to
their veteran squad.
